Parents take pride as kids celebrate matric results at township school

Grade 12 pupils at Maseala Progressive High School were recently seen celebrating the release of their exam results.

Against all odds, the learners at the township high school achieved an impressive 90% pass rate.

Briefly.co.za learnt that the school is based just outside of Polokwane.

The students were beaming with pride as they celebrated their successful exams and they were joined by their jubilant parents.

The uplifting moment was caught on camera and shared via Twitter by Katlego Nyoni (@katlego4ever).

Petrus makgahlela (@BishopPetrus) said,

The youngster hails from a township in the province and aims to study medicine in the hope of assisting his community.
