Sjava is a proud user of umuthi to keep his life moving the way he wants it to. The popular singer openly admitted to consuming umuthi.

Umuthi is traditional medicine which is prescribed after consultation with a sangoma or traditional healer.

Umuthi is used by many to treat both physical and spiritual ailments.

It's said to be able to ward off bad luck while simultaneously inviting blessings into one's life.

Some fans thought Sjava was joking as it's often considered taboo to openly admit to using umuthi.

But he singer doubled down on his statement and said, as a black man, he is not ashamed to use it.

He tweeted, "Why should I be embarrassed or hide the fact that I use traditional medicine as a black man?"

Fans were all for Sjava using umuthi, as long as he doesn't use it to destroy others.

One follower declared that it is wrong to even classify umuthi in the same category as witchcraft.
