Kylie Jenner, cosmetics and self-made billionaire, has reportedly donated the sum of $1 million (R14 million) to various relief outfits in Australia after she was called out for making insensitive posts on social media.
In the said post, she was reported to have uploaded an image of a burnt koala, mourning over the death of animals in the ongoing bush fire in the country, just before she posted a picture of her toes peeking out from her Louis Vuitton slippers made from mink fur.
According to a source close to Daily Mail, the development was a very unfortunate one, saying the post was not intended the way it was taken.
Trouble for the 22-year-old also increased on Monday, 6 January, when she posted a picture where she was sitting beside a fireplace, captioning it “find ur fire” and added fire and love heart emojis.
A fan’s comment on the post about the ongoing natural crisis happening in Australia made her make a quick edit of the caption to “night out” as she also removed the fire emoji.
Her sisters, Kim Kardashian-West and Khloe Kardashian, also hit back at trolls who criticised the family for their insensitivity towards the fire situation.
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za earlier reported that Kim shared some never-seen-before photos of herself and North in the oval office.
She made the revelation on 31 December, New Year Eve, saying her eldest child was with her during one of her visits to the White House.
On her Instagram stories, she showed photos that featured her daughter to celebrate some of her successes in 2019. In one of the photos, North is seen standing in the office as she is dressed in a long white gown.
In another photo, the child was spotted sitting on her mother's lap with her grandma beside them. Also, above them is the portrait of George Washington.
