- Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane watched on in disbelief when Themba Zwane received a yellow card in the match against Bidvest Wits on Tuesday
- As a result, the star midfielder will miss the crunch clash against Orlando Pirates
- Mosimane criticised referee Abongile Tom for the questionable booking
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Mamelodi Sundowns coach Pitso Mosimane vowed to voice his disapproval when his team encountered poor officiating in the PSL.
True to his word, Mosimane has again pulled no punches when it came to the match with Bidvest Wits.
Fortunately, there were no contentious decisions leading to goals, but Mosimane took exception to the booking dished out to Themba Zwane.
The Downs mentor was left fuming after the star midfielder received his fourth yellow card of the season.
The net effect is that the Brazilians will be without his services for the crunch clash against Orlando Pirates.
Mosimane asked, "[Abongile] Tom behaved differently. Why go to Mshishi and give him a yellow card?"
KickOFF.com reported that the Downs mentor tried to make sense of the decision.
Mosimane added: "You can't even say it's dissent because the guy is too far from you to say he said something."
The veteran coach deemed it a fruitless exercise to ask questions of the officials.
Mosimane said, "I would like to know why he was given a yellow card, but in South Africa you don't get answers."
