South Africans have various fast-food delivery services at our disposal.

We're often spoilt for choice and it's therefore easy to take the facility for granted.

Mulaudzi Henny Roavhona works as an Uber eats delivery driver and his personal account shed some light on the challenges they face.

However, the core of his story was based on the beauty of the human spirit and how it prevails in the most challenging of times.

After being tasked with delivering a meal from an outlet in Centurion, Mulaudzi started his journey on an evening when the rain was bucketing down.

Aside from the pouring rain, Mulaudzi was also caught in the midst of a hailstorm.

He eventually arrived at his destination, but was drenched with water at that stage.

It was at that point that he realised that the meals were also impacted by the gruelling journey and then feared the reaction of his customers.

However, he was amazed by the warm reaction he received once the door had opened.

The kind family invited him in, presented him with clean clothing and dry socks.

Mulaudzi revealed the cherry on top was that they served him some of the food he came to deliver.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the family's generosity knew no bounds as they even offered him a room to sleep in.

Mulaudzi shared the beautiful story via Facebook through the #ImStaying group and it's had a huge impact.

Marinda Van der Merwe said,

"The best story ever."

Lillian Smith added,

"Awesomeness, that's Ubuntu for sure."

Roxane Lacock was overjoyed:

"South Africans you make me PROUD! I LOVE THIS."
