Canadian superstar, Justin Bieber, has been making headlines with his appearance and people believed he is addicted to hard drugs.
However, it turns out the young man was battling not only Lyme disease but depression as well, Briefly.co.za learnt.
Lyme disease, which is caused by ticks that carry the bacteria that causes the condition, causes flu-like symptoms, rashes, fevers, headaches, weakness and joint pain.
The singer has been in ill health for quite some time. In addition to his battle with Lyme disease, he says he also has a serious case of chronic mono (infectious mononucleosis). This affected his brain function, skin and health, according to TMZ.
Justin says all the details about his health will be revealed in his upcoming documentary series.
The series is expected to be released on 27 January and will explore what Justin experienced in 2019.
Despite his bad health, Justin has managed to get work done and released a new song not too long ago.
The 25-year-old pop sensation with millions of fans will be giving them new music in the new year.
He announced that he will be making a new album and going on tour after also releasing a track titled Yummy.
