The Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, are considering relocating to Canada.

The disclosure was made by a close confidante of the couple, Tom Bradby, Briefly.co.za reported earlier.

The palace, however, said it was speculation, adding that it does not comment on speculation.

Trevor Noah has reacted to the surprising news, giving it his own funny spin, as we would expect.

Only a South African could make world news come across as something really funny.

The South African quoted Trevor as saying:

"Harry and Meghan are leaving the palace to become financially independent! You see, this is what happens when you bring the first black woman into the royal family.
"She looked at Harry and was like, ‘N****, you need to get a job! You need a job! You a grown-ass man, you can’t still be living in your mama’s house, Harry!’
"What’s funny is that, no matter what job Prince Harry gets, you realise that he’s still gonna be Prince Harry. Can you imagine being his boss when he screws up? What do you call him in and say? ‘Prince Harry, get in here, Your Majesty! You blew the Henderson account, My Lord, clean out your desk… and may God save the Queen!' "

Meghan has in the past described her heritage as mixed. Her father is white and her mother is African-American, according to Wikipedia.
