Local Good Samaritan, BI Phakathi, has shared a video on social media. The footage shows him speaking to a homeless man who was about to eat a rotting pie. He offered to buy him food and took him to the local store where the grateful man was able to take all he needed.

Phakathi shared the video on his Facebook page. He met the man while he was at the petrol station to fuel his car. He saw the homeless man rummaging through the garbage in search for food before emerging with the stale pie.
