A Nigerian man, Joshua Usoro, popularly known as Jason, has broken the Guinness World Record for the longest dance marathon relay.

He danced for 53 hours, 28 minutes and 47 seconds in Lagos on 6 Apri, 2019 to smash the previous record.
According to Jason, he had always dreamed of such an achievement. He added that the story behind it has made him a better person in so many ways.
Jason explained how he had his first attempt in 2017 and due to some errors, he took the decision to stop.
He said: "To all the dreamers out there, you may fail, be mocked, looked down upon, it may be so hard but regardless of how you feel, keep pushing. Dreams do come TRUE!!!"
He expressed gratitude to all the people who helped him achieve success. "To the voiceless and everyone who has a dream, this is for you," he added.
Apart from dancing, Jason is a singer and an entrepreneur.
