- Reality TV star Lexi Van isn't impressed with her body right now
- She gave birth to her son in April last year and feels she hasn't got her post-baby body back yet
- Lexi referred to her 'fupa' and says she feels uncomfortable and unattractive
Lexi Van, the popular reality TV star, and Mandla Hlatshwayo had their first child in April last year and are having a blast being parents.
However, Lexi isn't too happy with the way she looks. Unlike many celeb moms who seem to bounce back and look like they never had a baby bump, Lexi says she isn't as lucky.
Her honesty is fresh and fans love to see how she shares her journey as a new mother without hiding the reality of it.
According to Lexi, she has a 'fupa' that is unattractive and uncomfortable. She opened up on social media that she hates her body right now. A 'fupa' is an acronym for Fat Upper Pelvic Area, and it is slang for fat in the lower abdomen area.
She's hoping to look better by the time March rolls in.
"I have a fupa right now. I wasn't lucky enough to bounce back after birth. I find it unattractive, uncomfortable and it's always in the way. I hate it!"
This comes despite an earlier report that Lexi is looking amazing for a new mother.
Briefly.co.za reported that Lexi is serving us the looks. On top of that, she's been a positive influence and in one of her posts, she encouraged new moms to be kind to themselves.
“New moms. I’m 3 weeks post-partum and the way my body has changed has truly affected me. Pregnancy is beautiful and I am so blessed to have experienced it. But one can’t help but notice the physical changes.”
