- Daniel Radcliffe, the actor known for playing the role of Harry Potter, was mistaken for a homeless person once
- The British star shared this funny story recently, saying it happened in New York
- Daniel joked that he should shave more often - it could have been his scruffy beard that created the impression that he is homeless
Daniel Radcliffe has a net worth of about $125 million (roughly R1.7 billion) but was once mistaken for being homeless and needy.
Daniel is most famously known for playing the leading role in the Harry Potter films but may have to reconsider how long he's letting his beard grow.
The actor shared that he was approached by a man in New York and handed $5 for a coffee, according to The Independent.
The 30-year-old was apparently outside a shop looking after the dog that he and his girlfriend had fostered when he knelt down to warm up the freezing pooch.
That's when a man took pity over him, Briefly.co.za gathered.
"I saw this guy look at me and smile. Then he walked past me, got about five steps away, reappeared with a five-dollar bill over my shoulder and went, ‘Get yourself a coffee mate.’
“Apparently I have to shave more often."
