Trevor Noah was not happy with the lack of diversity in the Oscar nominations list. He was peeved that the Oscars did not nominate any female directors.

Of the Best Director nominees, Trevor said, "Those aren't just all male directors, those are very male movies."

Trevor was also upset that the only black actress nominated for an Oscar was one who played a slave.

Trevor's followers agreed with the comedian.

Briefly.co.za reported recently that SA-born Charlize Theron has been nominated for a Best Actress Oscar.
