Bidvest Wits have added more firepower to their arsenal as they announced the signing of a prolific striker on Wednesday.
Wits have secured the services of Cameroonian forward Eva Nga.
Briefly.co.za learnt that the 26-year-old has been in excellent form this season and was the top-scorer in Mozambique for his club side, Clube de Desportos da Costa do Sol.
SowetanLIVE reported that the Clever Boys and coach Gavin Hunt have been scouting the player for quite some time.
Chief operations officer Jonathan Schloss waxed lyrical about his new signing and felt confident that Nga would thrive at Wits.
Schloss said, "He certainly gives our coach Gavin Hunt additional ammunition upfront and we have every belief that he can emulate the form shown in Mozambique.”
Hunt is thrilled about the new signing and is already impressed.
Hunt said, “I’ve been watching Eva for some time now and I like what I see."
Briefly.co.za gauged some of the reactions via Twitter after Wits shared the news earlier.
KeleUnofficial (@kele_p) said,

Mr Price Less (@Kwenze_kile) added,
"He looks intimidating indeed, a 5 goal a season Striker."
