As South Africa is a rainbow nation, filled with many races, religions, cultures and beliefs, sometimes these can be misinterpreted and misunderstood.

Taking to social media, Toya posted a picture of a standard traditional set up with impepho which is generally used when connecting with one's ancestors. She then explained that they do not worship their ancestors, they connect with them and that the demonising of the ritual and belief needs to end.
