Back in 1993, a movie called Poetic Justice came out. It was a huge hit that told the story of a hairdresser who was played by the beautiful Janet Jackson.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Anele recently put the puzzle pieces together and clicked that Poetic Justice braids were named after the 1993 film, Poetic Justice.

Poetic Justice braids are the jumbo braids that Janet Jackson wore in the movie Poetic Justice, which were previously known as box braids.
Anele obvs just found out the meaning behind the name and it had her cry laughing, our gurl was bust! She took to social media to let everyone know how the name absolutely crippled her.
