SA upset by lady’s negligence with champagne: “I’m mad watching this”

- A young lady filmed herself popping a bottle of champagne

- Unfortunately, it turned out to be an epic fail, as the bottle slipped and broke

- The footage went viral and left some amused, while others were enraged

A young woman was so happy about having the chance to open a bottle of champagne that she decided to film the experience.

Unfortunately, she lost control as she was popping the bottle and it slipped out of her hands.

The net result is that it fell to the floor and the bottle shattered, along with the hopes of the young lady.

Although the incident would have been demoralising for her, she can take heart from the fact that footage of the incident went viral, albeit for the wrong reasons.

Briefly.co.za noted that the video has been viewed more than 200 00 times on Twitter.

Twitter user Erence_Makwela (@Prof_Erence) shared the video on Tuesday and it attracted some strong reactions.

While many were amused, others were too upset to watch as the expensive bottle of bubbly was wasted.

Pontsho (@Nosi_Motsepe) revealed her frustration:

"I’m mad watching this."

Chrisantiousss (@chrisantiousss) added,

"You do that WE NO LONGER FRIEND'S! Yerrr I'm so angry at her. Waste ekana."

I am (@usthe_mbile) couldn't get enough of the video's conclusion:

"I love how she just stood there,speechless. Then gathered her thoughts and decided it’s time to pick up the mess she just created."

FatherFace (@FatherFace1) said there's a lesson to be learnt:

"And my dear, that's the reason why you NEED a man in your life. I stan."
