If you hate snakes, then KwaZulu-Natal is probably not the place you'd want to be.
It's a province where snake catchers work overtime due to the high number of sightings in suburban areas.
Briefly.co.za recently reported that a snake catcher was dispatched to the suburb of Reservoir Hills in KZN following the sighting of a boomslang.

On Wednesday, a huge python was sighted then caught in Canelands, north of Durban.
The very next day, security company Reaction Unit SA was called as the owner spotted a massive snake eating one of his chickens.
The team arrived at the property, along with snake catcher Jason Arnold.

Jason bravely entered the chicken coop in an attempt to catch the giant reptile.
He soon emerged with the two-metre long black mamba and saved the day.
Reaction Unit SA shared video footage of the capture via Facebook and confirmed that the snake was safely released.
