Briefly.co.za previously reported on the popularity of the #PhoyisaChallenge following DJ Maphorisa's lit track.
Initially, DJ Maphorisa only agreed to release the full track of the song once 50 000 retweets were achieved, but the track went viral in no time and achieved more than 1 million views.
The challenge has spread like wildfire and it seems South Africans can't stop participating in it.

Three young men put their own spin on it as they performed a wonderful dance routine.
The rhythm, choreography and synchronisation of their routine is all on point and caught the eye of local musician Cassper Nyovest.
Nyovest was so impressed that he shared their video via his Instagram account and it's gone viral.
Briefly.co.za noted that the video has been viewed nearly 300 000 times and attracted loads of positive comments.
