Pitso Mosimane, the Mamelodi Sundowns coach, knows a good thing when he sees it and has admitted that he is very happy in his current position.
“Very important to stay where you are loved. 80 percent of the contract concluded‚ we should be signing soon‚” said Mosimane who has already won the Telkom Knockout this season.
Briefly.co.za learned that this follows speculation as to where the coach would go to next or whether he would stay with the Sundowns. He has said that the contract is almost done and things are going well.
Mosimane joined the Sundowns 8 years ago after leading the Bafana Bafana for two years. Since then he has taken the club from strength to strength with four league titles, one Telkom Knockout and two Nedbank Cup trophies.
Internationally he has taken the Sundowns to victory in 2016 and 2017 in the Caf Champions League and the Super Cup respectively according to the sowetanlive.co.za.
When he first joined the Sundowns the club finished 10th on the log but since then he has taken to the club to victory or 2nd place in the league.
This year is going well with a quarter-final match in the CAF Champions League and second place on the PSL log after 17 matches.
