Weekly wrap: Cassper bows to queen Zozi, Sho shares precious memories

SA's celebs were rather busy this week. Cassper Nyovest gushed over Zozibini Tunzi, Sho Madjozi shared some important memories, DJ Zinhle addressed nasty rumours, Scandal star Lihlonolofatso stole viewer's hearts and Rachel Kolisi hilariously recreated back-to-school photo.

1. Peeps see hearts as Cassper Nyovest bows to his queen Zozibini Tunzi

Zozibini Tunzi made Mzansi so incredibly proud last year. Not only did she win both Miss South Africa and Miss Universe, but she also represented South Africa with undeniable authenticity and pride.

Briefly.co.za knows how Cass loves to give credit where credit is due, especially when it comes to the ladies.

Being a momma’s boy himself, Cassper values the fight females face and the triumphs they make despite the battle. Taking to social media with the littest and most undeniable post of 2020 yet, Cassper crowned Zozi Queen of Mzansi.

It's no wonder people think the man's got a crush on our beauty queen.

2. Sho Madjozi shares precious memories of late sister, Makhanani Maganye

Sho Madjozi has been very open about the loss she suffered when her sister passed away and she's sharing this difficult journey with her fans.

The singer opened up about her 'worst possible hurt' not so long ago - she shared a thread on social media in which she admitted that she was in pain.

The rapper also took a minute to thank her fans for supporting her in this difficult time. Makhanani Maganye was involved in a fatal car accident on 17 December and was buried on 22 December.

More recently, Sho shared some of her fonder memories of her sister with fans. She told them that Makhanani features in her music video for Kona.

3. 'Scandal' star Lihlonolofatso has stolen SA's hearts with his acting

12-year-old actor, Lihlonolofatso, has stolen hearts and left viewers of Scandal impressed and amazed with his acting.

The youngster plays the role of Tebello who is taking care of a frail and sick elderly lady played by acting icon, Francina Morake. He also interacts with Kgomotso Christoper's character, Yvonne.

She too is very impressed with the boy's acting ability. The actress joined the rest of Scandal's fans in gushing over Lihlonolofatso and his skill and attitude.

According to her, he is natural and a 'marvel' to watch both on and off-screen.

"The child prodigy ... first-time actor ... we are watching him working and as professionals getting re-inspired. It's about the craft, the work, the calling. Nothing else! Pure art in action."

4. DJ Zinhle finally responds to the rumours of her 'break-up' from AKA

Rumours have been going around for a while now that DJ Zinhle was dumped by AKA. Reasons for this alleged split varied, from people interfering in their relationship to Zinhle partying with Cassper Nyovest to cheating.

However, these were all put to rest when Zinhle finally decided to respond and set things straight.

She shared a tweet in which she 'fixed' a news headline that claims their relationship is over.

Guess it's time to move on to the next juicy story.

5. Rachel Kolisi hilariously recreates back to school photo, SA loves it

Rachel Kolisi celebrated her kids going back to school by recreating a hilarious photo. Taking to Facebook, Mrs Kolisi posted the comical snap next to the original.

The image shows Rachel chilling in a pool with champagne while her kids are dressed for their first day back to school. Springboks captain, Siya Kolisi, was also in the photo dressed in his Stormers kit and his facial expression was just hilarious.
