Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have shocked the world with the announcement that they will be taking a step back as 'senior' members of the Royal Family.

More reports indicated that the Royal couple plan to move to Canada. It has now been revealed that they will lose their titles as well as their royal funds.

News24 reported that Buckingham Palace released a statement about this development in the matter.

An agreement has been made between the Royal family and the pair stepping away, gathered.

"As agreed in this new arrangement, they understand that they are required to step back from Royal duties, including official military appointments. They will no longer receive public funds for Royal duties."

Although they will no longer be formal representatives of the queen, the couple will still do what they can to uphold her values.

Harry and Meghan will still be referred to as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but they no longer have their HRH titles - this means they will not be called 'Royal Highness" anymore.
