The Stormers beat the Sharks by 21-19 in the first of two friendly matches to be played as part of the Super Hero Sunday at the FNB Stadium in Soweto.

The match was action-packed, with a score margin so close leaving little room for error.
Briefly.co.za learned that in the 26th minute, the Stormers scored a try and converted but shortly afterwards the Sharks struck back but were unable to convert, leaving the 7-5 for the remainder of the 1st half.
Shortly into the second half, the Sharks took the lead with a try and conversion taking the score to 12-7 for the Sharks.

The Stormers struck back taking back the lead making the score 14-12 and again in the 71st minute scored another try making it 21-12.
The Sharks came back in the dying minutes with a converted try but it was too little too late, leaving the score 21-19 at the final whistle.
