Pearl Thusi went from having one daughter to having two girls basically overnight.

Her fans were taken by surprise when the actress started sharing posts of the new member of her family.

Okuhlekonke joined the mom-and-daughter and they seem to be happier for it.

The story of how Okuhle came to be a member of the Thusi tribe is one that will be told in the future if that's what the little lady wants.

Although Briefly.co.za reported previously that she talked about some of it, Pearl does not want to share the story, she's leaving that to her daughter.

The actress wants Oluhle to decide if she wants to tell it or keep it private.

"I'm a mother to four-and-a-half-year-old Okuhlekonke and I have to wait for her to grow up and decide how she wants this story to be told.
"In 15 years' time if Okuhlekonke decides to tell you guys what happened and what's happening, then that's her choice to make."

During an interview on The Real Goboza, Pearl talked a little bit about being Okuhle's mom.

She sounds incredibly happy and grateful.

"Right now all that I can admit to is being her mother, and that I'm very proud of that, and that she's a very sweet, kind and loving child."
