An anonymous donor has helped send a child to university. A desperate parent appealed on social media for money to send their daughter to a tertiary institution. The post was seen by a donor who made the cash deposit and blessed the family.

The exchange was facilitated by Twitter user TakaTina1, who shared the parent's desperate post. The social media user was able to connect the parent with the unnamed donor. TakaTina1 shared screenshots of the exchange along with proof of the cash deposit. They captioned the post:

"The South Africa I signed up for, we carry on like this, the world would be a very much better place"

Social media users were impressed and encouraged by the positive outcome. Twitter user Sabelo_com said:

"Wow! I love what I'm seeing. To God be the Glory."
