A young man had South Africans laughing out loud after he gave an hilarious, yet truthful, explanation to what he's doing with a shovel, sand and some potholes.
It's no secret that most SA roads are in a horrible condition and many citizens have taken it upon themselves to fill up potholes.
However, one man managed to make the country laugh while doing so. The 'mhlungu' - as some tweeps dubbed him - joked that he got a R1.3 million tender to fix the road so he decided to fill it up with sand.
The funny clip was posted on Twitter on Tuesday by social media user @SabzaT03, who captioned it:
"Haibo, what's going on."
The video managed to get over 54 800 views and while it had many in stitches, social media users added it also showed the sad reality in Mzansi.
Twitter user, @zamagembe, commented:
"This seems like a joke but deep down there's much truth in what this Mlungu's saying."
Dzivhani Lucky, @LUCKYDZIVHANI, added:
"It's funny but that's what is currently happening in tenders."
Tebogo Lekalakala, who goes by the Twitter handle @TebogoLekalaka5, wrote:
"Umlungu is telling the truth. Yikes it hurts shame."
