Somizi, also known as Somgaga by his fans, took a moment to reflect on his life and where he came from.

The entertainer is living his best life and looking forward to his upcoming white wedding, but knows that he has much to be grateful for.

He shared a photo of itty bitty Somizi from years ago that had his fans melting - they think he was the cutest little boy with a hint of naughtiness in his face.

Along with the photo, Somizi shared a message of gratitude over the doors that had opened for him in his life. He also showed his pride in the person who raised him.

"I will forever be grateful for the door behind me. The first door I opened and that was opened for me. I'm super proud to be raised by my grandmother who provided all I needed. I am because she was. My roots. Look at me now."
