South Africans roasted Ace Magashule and the ANC after a photo surfaced online showing the secretary-general shaking the hand of a little girl.
On Friday, the ANC posted a snap of Ace Magashule visiting an informal settlement in Roodepoort.
The secretary-general was photographed shaking a little girl's hand in front of a shack.
"The year of unity, socio-economic renewal and nation building #ANC108Moments," the post was captioned.
South Africans only focused on the people's poor living conditions and they roasted the ANC for failing the citizens of the country.
Maishe Bopape, who goeby the Twitter handle @FAKADIMABOYA, wrote:
"ANC had implicitly undermined our need for a socio-economic mobility. We need an implicit agreement among ourselves in which organised society could be brought into been, invested with mutual security and welfare."
Social media user, @politic90748822, commented:
"Have built nothing in 25 years, it's been 25 years of utter dereliction and sustained neglect, @MYANC have proven beyond a doubt that they are unfit and incapable of governing and build because that would require ethics and accountability which is something you don't have."
