South African hit rapper, Emtee has spoken out about what he thinks schools should teach instead of what is currently in the curriculum. In a post on Twitter, he said that schools should teach financial literacy and well being.

Briefly.co.za learned that Emtee has not had it easy, he crashed two cars and even wound up on the streets. This may have been avoided if financial literacy had been focused on more in schools.

In 2019 Emtee took control of his career and went independent according to timeslive.co.za.
Emtee has announced his plan to drop DIY3 later this year after he releases the highly-anticipated Logan project.
DIY3 will be a follow up to his debut and sophomore albums, DIY1 and DIY2.
Emtee released DIY1 in 2016 and DIY2 was released in 2018. He won multiple awards for both albums.
