US President Donald Trump has shared an emotional tribute to the late NBA player Kobe Bryant. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter passed away after his helicopter crashed. Trump described the basketball star as one of the "truly great basketball players of all time".
Briefly.co.za reported that the legendary NBA player and admired sports star passed away in a fatal helicopter crash. It is believed a fire broke out and the helicopter spiralled out of control.
Donald Trump took to Twitter and posed:
"Kobe Bryant, despite being one of the truly great basketball players of all time, was just getting started in life. He loved his family so much, and had such strong passion for the future. The loss of his beautiful daughter, Gianna, makes this moment even more devastating."
He went on to extend condolences to the Bryant family:
"Melania and I send our warmest condolences to Vanessa and the wonderful Bryant family. May God be with you all!"

Mzansi has also shared words of comfort to the grieving family. A few PSL teams have taken to social media to offer condolences to the Bryant family. Celebs such as Cassper Nyovest used the social media platform to let their fans and the rest of the world know that their hearts are broken.
