Things were really bad between AKA and Burna Boy for a while and it even looked like their online beef could become a physical one.

It didn't go that far though and AKA tried to make peace with the Nigerian musician. This was unsuccessful, sadly.

The whole thing started in 2019 when a tweet by AKA was taken out of context and South Africans and Nigerians went at each other on Twitter.

Fast forward to the recent Grammy Awards and peeps are still bitter. So much so that they mocked Burna Boy for missing out on a Grammy, Briefly.co.za reported.

But AKA has shown good sportsmanship and defended the muso on social media.

Supa Mega told peeps that he never hated Burna Boy, he just stood up for his country. He now wants people to move on and celebrate the artist for getting a nomination in the first place.

"I never hated Burna Boy. All I did was stand up for my country. I think it’s time to move past this narrative. It’s tired. Like I said, even a nomination is a huge achievement."

AKA added that Burna Boy is a champion - to the surprise of many. Way to be the bigger man, Supa Mega!
