A man has shared a plate of mopane worms on social media. He said one is not South African unless they’ve eaten the dish. Social media users were quick to protest his statement while others even denounced their citizenship.

Twitter user MrumaDrive shared the picture on the social media platform with the caption:

“You are not South African if your stomach doesn't know this meal”
