A woman has taken to social media to thank an honest gardener for returning her phone. She has left the phone at a farm stall and only realized her mistake after 40 minutes had passed. When they returned to look for it, they were informed that the Samuel, the gardener had handed it to the manager.
Dalene Barnard Hsu took to the #ImStaying Facebook group to share the story. She and her family were at the Nanaga Farm Stall outside Port Elizabeth hen she accidentally forgot her phone at one of the stalls.
“We were already 40 minutes away when I realized this and we turned back”
Samuel had found the phone and handed it to the manager. The grateful woman thanked the honest man profusely. Social media users were also encouraged by the wonderful story of honesty.
