South Africans are no longer waiting on the government to create jobs, they are taking matters into their own hands.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za shared the story of an 18-year-old pupil who started a milkshake business to earn money.
Now, we saw another inspiring story of a hard-working South African who is battling unemployment.
Last week, a woman, Angelique Verster, took to the #ImStaying Facebook group to share the story of a man named Jacob.
Verster revealed "ntate Jacob" is unemployed but he owns a small business.
"He walks with this trolley in the heat 3 days a week around my area. I like to support his small business."
Take a look at the post below:
The story tugged on the heart strings of South Africans and they showed Jacob support online.
Nani Pooe commented:
"May the Lord bless his efforts and bless you too for your support."
Aurelia Kumar said:
"Praise God, well done, I love the heart of God being expressed."
Richelle Wridgway added:
"So awesome. He's working hard - he deserves support."
