Tennis legend Rafa Nadal is known the world over and is one of the most recognisable sports stars.
A hilarious moment therefore ensued when the world number one couldn't be identified at one of the major tennis tournaments of the year.
The Australian Open is a prestigious Grand Slam event and Nadal has been a winner in the past.

However, when attempting to enter the locker room at Melbourne Park, Nadal was stopped at the door.
The tennis icon had a training session and forgot to carry his pass. The diligent security guard refused him entry as he had no idea who he was.
The bemused star took it in his stride and waited for a second guard to arrive and allow him entry.

The hilarious exchange was caught on camera and went viral via Twitter.
Ironically, previous Australian Open winner Roger Federer received similar treatment when security officials at Melbourne Park refused him entry as well.
Both men showed their class though by seeing the lighter side during the interactions.
In other news, both Nadal and Federer will soon face-off in Cape Town for their record-breaking encounter.
