Liverpool stretched their lead at the top of the Premier League table to 19 points following their 2-0 victory against West Ham United at the London Stadium on Wednesday.
A goal each from Mohamed Salah and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in either half of the meeting handed the Reds maximum points after the game.
The victory pushes Jurgen Klopp's men closer to clinching their first English top-flight title in well over three decades.
Salah fired the Reds ahead in the 35th minute through a well-taken penalty that went past Lukasz Fabianski towards the end of the first half.
Brazilian forward Roberto Firmino won the spot-kick for the visitors after being hacked down by Jeremy Ngakia and Issa Diop in the danger zone.
Meanwhile, referee Jonathan Moss was not sure and needed the help of the video assisted referee to review the decision before finally pointing to the spot.
West Ham made some nice advances after conceding their first goal but none of their efforts could find the back of the net before the referee signalled the end of the half.
Having observed the half time break, both sides resumed hostilities but it was the visitors who made the first mark.
Barely seven-minute after the resumption, Oxlade-Chamberlain doubled the Reds lead in the 52nd minute of the game.
The England international registered his names on the scores sheet after netting a goal from a counter-attacking move which was started after defending a corner kick moments before.
Salah got the build-up started and then pick the winger who was already making a run towards the opponent's danger zone.
Oxlade-Chamberlain dribbled past a couple of West Ham's opponent before firing the ball into the net, while they ran off with maximum points.
Liverpool has 70 points from 24 games - 19 points better than defending champions Manchester City and their next meeting will be against Southampton at Anfield.
