South Africans were touched when a young man, named Ndumiso Gasa, shared details of some of his successes in 2020.
Although the new year has barely begun, Ndumiso has kicked things off with a bang as he achieved two memorable milestones in January.
The youngster explained that despite his limited resources, he successfully passed Grade 12 - becoming only the second member of his family to ever do so.
January went from good to great when he also successfully passed his driver's licence test.
Ndumiso explained that no one has ever achieved this feat in his family.
Despite struggling financially and being raised by a single mother, Ndumiso is overcoming the odds to make a success of his life.
The youngster shared the inspirational news via the #ImStaying Facebook group and Briefly.co.za observed that it went viral.
