- Supra Mahumapelo attended Bongani Bongo's corruption trial on Friday in Cape Town
- The ANC MP has threatened to drop files on fellow party members involved in State Capture
- Mahumapelo was adamant that individuals need not ask permission when supporting each other
Supra Mahumapelo showed face at ANC MP Bongani Bongo's corruption trial at the Cape Town Magistrate's Court on Friday.
While the matter was eventually postponed, the former North West Premier seized the opportunity to have the spotlight turned in his direction.
Briefly.co.za reported that the politician was adamant the removal process against Public Protector Busisiwe Mkhwebane would not gain support within the ANC.
Mahumapelo was displeased that the ANC had not shown Bongo more support in facing trial, hinting that party members had turned a blind eye.
But, in his opinion, this will come back to bite when the 'outcasts' returned and dished the dirt on ANC moles who allegedly led a campaign against factions in the party.
The South African reports that the ANC has yet to respond to the allegations of abandonment, or the comments on the party's support of the Public Protector, made by the former premier.
