Weekly wrap: Musa Mseleku's 'Mnakwethu' upsets SA while teen inspires

The drama of Mnakwethu left peeps with a bitter taste in their mouths while a clever teen had people feeling inspired. Nomzamo Mbatha rubbed shoulders with the rich and the famous at Jay-Z and Beyoncé's Roc Nation Brunch, AKA and Bonang made waves and Dawn Thandeka King celebrated her daughter's 16th birthday. 1. Viewers unhappy with disrespect to women on Musa Mseleku's 'Mnakwethu'

Polygamist Musa Mseleku's new show is rubbing tweeps up the wrong way. The show, titled Mnakwethu, follows men who are venturing into the world of polygamy.

Viewers are upset they have yet to see any of the men give a good reason for wanting a second wife. The third episode aired last night and viewers were up to here with the disrespect shown towards women on the show.

2. Teen, 18, starts own business without money, inspires South Africans

A social media user, @ForgieFoxVI, took to Twitter to gush about his business. The 18-year-old, who hails from Limpopo, revealed he owns a milkshake business called Makwela Milkshakes.

Briefly.co.za learned the young entrepreneur revealed he had no money to start a business but he still followed his dreams. @ForgieFoxVI added he used an old machine to perfect his recipe to see if people would like it.

3. Nomzamo Mbatha bagged invite to Jay-Z and Beyoncé's Roc Nation Brunch

Nomzamo Mbatha recently celebrated living in the US for a whole year now, and she's silently but surely carving out her place on the international entertainment scene.

As if to show everyone that she means business, the actress scored herself an invite to one of the most prestigious brunch events of the year.

The annual Roc Nation Brunch is held a day before the Grammy Awards and hosted by Jay-Z's entertainment company.

Diddy, Meek Mill, Kevin Hart and stacks of other celebs turned up. The focus was on black excellence so it's only fitting that Nomzamo was there as well.

With the soul-destroying social media silence that Bonang has been serving, this like was deafeningly loud.

Lockdown and Uzalo actress Dawn Thandeka King is very proud of her lookalike 16-year-old daughter.

The actress' little girl turned 16 earlier and Dawn couldn't help but spread the love on her Instagram account.

Dawn's daughter has the cutest box braids and a gorgeous smile. She wrote the sweet caption, "Happy sweet 16th birthday, I love you, I am so Proud of you..."

Dawn's fans joined her in wishing their fave's daughter a happy birthday.
