Liverpool has become a force of nature in the Premier League, with a massive lead of 22 points over rivals Manchester.
Briefly.co.za learned that the Reds extended their lead with a 4-0 win over Southampton at Anfield. They have also tied Manchester City with the number of consecutive Premier League wins at home.
Liverpool are in the midst of a historic winning streak, the likes not seen since Bill Shankly's lead Liverpool in 1972 according to bbc.co.uk.
"We're not even close to being perfect. We just look to use our skills in the best possible way. The boys have done that for a while pretty good and that's why we have these numbers," said coach Juergen Klopp.
"We didn't want a 22-point lead. We wanted 73 points at the end of today."
Fans around the world reacted to Liverpool's domination of Southampton who suffered their first away loss in 5 games and drops to 11th place on the log.
