Taking a stand against Trump's view on immigrants in the US as the opening act of the Super Bowl is something truly spectacular and something the African people respect greatly. Unfortunately, the Waka Waka mess-up could just not be ignored.

Shakira left out the line which fuelled the pride of the African people; "This time for Africa". Leaving out that line is to the African people what Trumps says about immigrants in the US to Latinos living in the US – it's soul destroying.

African people were insulted and enraged. People from all over the African continent took to social media to express their displeasure. Sis even dressed in traditional African fabrics and still gave Africa zero cred!
