A warrant of arrest has officially been issued for former president Jacob Zuma and Mzansi is not handling the news well.
Zuma is officially a wanted man after the KwaZulu-Natal High Court approved the state's request to take action after the politician failed to appear, Briefly.co.za reported earlier.
News of the warrant of arrest for the former president spread like wildfire on Mzansi social media and South Africans were left with different views.
For some, Zuma is still their hero and 'hands off uBaba' posts flooded Twitter.
Tumi Sole said a warrant of arrest was unnecessary and the court should give Zuma the courtesy of proving he's unwell.
Take a look at his post below:
However, others felt Zuma made a mockery out of the legal system with his absence and they believe he deserves what's coming.
Herman Mashaba commented:
"It is very clear that Jacob Zuma never really wanted his day in court. He is making a mockery of our justice system. #SASpeaks."
Twitter user, @CheetahPlains, added:
"Jacob "butternut" Zuma must be totally humiliated and thrown into jail when the State is done with him. We have gone backwards because of people like him. Unfortunately we have tolerated his nonsense for too long. #ZumaTrial."
