Vaal University of Technology FC (VUT) may be the lowest-ranking participant in the Nedbank Cup's last 32‚ but they are not without confidence and a feisty attitude. Coach Stanley Nkoane recently took a jab at Golden Arrows coachSteve Komphela ahead of the clash with his team.
VUT will be facing Premier Soccer League Lamontville Golden Arrows on Saturday. Nkoane believes that they have a fair chance of beating them.
According to SowetanLIVE, the coach threw shade at Komphela's elaborate speeches by saying:
“English will not be playing football on the day.”
The coach went on to say that he believes Komphela is good at his job but is not unbeatable.
“I respect him as a coach. And coming up against him is a motivation to me"
