The two icons will face off against each in other and play an entertaining doubles match with comedian Trevor Noah and billionaire Bill Gates.

Federer announced his arrival in South Africa via social media and the news caused a stir.

Ahead of the big match weekend, Federer will travel to Namibia as part of a visit to see the work done through his foundation.

He'll then return to Cape Town where he'll battle his nemesis Nadal.

Local tennis fans are chomping at the bit in anticipation and made their voices heard in response to Federer's Facebook post.
