A US lady tried to enlighten fellow women on how submission truly works but the whole thing blew up in her face after netizens fumed over her remarks.
Brooke Smith, who is a stay-at-home mom, revealed she religiously wakes up at 4.30am every day to cater to her husband’s needs.
In a post shared on Facebook, Brooke said she always makes sure her hubby’s breakfast is set on the table before he wakes up to go to work.
Before she goes to bed, her kids’ lunches are always packed and their clothes ironed and ready for the next day.
The mother of four also said she ensures her house is clean before getting her much-needed shut-eye at night.
And as if that is not enough, the woman who values the Biblical way of being a dedicated wife, Brooke always does the laundry before retiring at night.
“I always make sure I don't go to be until everyone's lunches are packed, their clothes are set out for the next day, including my husband's, and the house is clean, dishwasher is on and load of washing is on,” the dutiful spouse said.
After undertaking all these chores, the young mum often ends up going to bed at around midnight.
This means she only gets four hours of sleep on most days.
She urged moms to always be hardworking wives even if they are too tired and do not feel like doing her wifely duties.
“A happy mom equals a happy household. Do it even when you feel like not doing it because you'll be happy for it the next day,” Brooke added.
Some women thought the mother of four was still living in the past and needed an immediate wake-up call.
