A couple identified as Paul and Yulia Tarbath said they earn a six-figure salary while travelling around the world after selling their £650k (R12m) home and cars and embarked on a 10-year backpacking holiday across 31 countries.
The couple said they were tired of their jobs in telecoms and the civil service and decided to leave the United Kingdom, Daily Mail reports.
Briefly.co.za gathers that when the couple got to India in October 2009, they first relied on savings, after which they became weight loss and life coaches.
In September 2019, the couple decided to settle down in Spain. Their reason was for their five-year-old daughter to start school. They plan to take off again when their daughter Elanie is older.
Yulia said: "The main reason we went was to live in a sunnier climate. We wanted to live where we could enjoy being outside and experience the outdoors.
"It is the best thing we have ever done and has been a massively exciting adventure. We always knew what our passion was and we have broadened our horizons to get out there and do it."
According to the couple, they now earn a combined six-figure income while travelling the world teaching people how to eat well and live healthily.
