Popular comedian Bill Cosby, who is currently in prison, has extended his appreciation to rapper Snoop Dogg for taking his side following his rants about popular media personality, Gayle King’s interview with WNBA player Lisa Leslie.

Cosby or whoever seemed to be operating his official Instagram page spoke against popular TV network CBS, for attempting to use successful black women to tarnish the image and legacy of successful black men.

King received heavy backlash after the TV network released an excerpt of her interview with Leslie, that captured the moment she was raising questions about the molestation accusations levelled against late NBA star, Kobe Bryant.

Shortly after the clip, rapper Snoop Dogg via an Instagram video lashed out at King over the NBA star allegations.

In the post shared by Cosby on Instagram, he made it clear that being imprisoned has not taken away his voice or ability to speak up.

He wondered if the attempt by CBS was a desperate move to gain more ratings, money or fame. Cosby rounded up his post by thanking the rapper on behalf of himself and his family members.

The imprisoned comedian went on to extend his heartfelt prayers to the families of late Kobe Bryant and music legend, Micheal Jackson. He prayed for their legacies to continue living on.
