The exciting match was typical of New Zealand rugby with the ball moving across both sides of the field. What was untypical was the Chiefs scoring 3 tries against the current champions.
Briefly.co.za learned that the Crusaders only managed to score 2 tries. The Chiefs capitalised on the start of the second half and set the pace for the rest of the match. Ultimately, the Chiefs were able to keep the Crusaders out of the match.
