Pule Mabe, ANC's national spokesperson, has criticised the different ANC youth league structures who released statements in defence of Jacob Zuma.
One particular statement also insulted the ANCYL's task team coordinator, Sibongile Besani.
This resulted in Besani quitting from his post, Briefly.co.za gathered.

This came after a warrant of arrest was released against Zuma for not showing up for his court case.
The KwaZulu-Natal High Court approved the state's request to take action after the politician failed to appear.
According to Pule, it's the first time that such statements by leagues of this kind were made.
"It's never happened that structures of the league that don't have legitimacy can speak in a manner that the youth league is doing.
"For you to speak and champion the revolution, you must be a legitimate structure, you must enjoy the support of the people you lead. You must emerge out of a democratic process, you do not lead beyond your term of office and still claim legitimacy, never."
