Billie Eilish performed a beautiful rendition of the Beatles' 1965 hit Yesterday at the Oscars last night.

The song was performed in honour of Kobe Bryant, Kirk Douglas and other notables who passed away in the last year.

Briefly.co.za reported that movie legend Kirk Douglas passed away last week.

Billie's brother, Finneas O'Connell, accompanied Billie on piano.

The young singer wore a black sequinned outfit with trademark green hair during the sombre yet beautiful performance.
