When someone experiences a devastating incident, the healing period could be one that will take some time to recover from. The car accident that Sbahle Mpisane was involved in was truly bad as it almost took her life. She has had a long road to recovery.
The incident occurred on Margaret Mncadi Avenue when the fitness guru and TV personality lost control of her car. In the early hours of 9 August, emergency officials resorted to using the jaws of life to free Sbahle from the wreckage. The overturned vehicle was reported to have burst into flames.
Briefly.co.za learnt that in an interview with Drum magazine, Sbahle went into more details of the extent of the injuries she had suffered. She explained that every bone in her body had been broken including her arms, fingers, legs and toes. Sbahle had not spoken out before of just how severe her injuries were. She even injured her lungs and liver.
Sbahle went on to say that it could only have been by the grace of God that she survived because even the doctors were clueless as to how she pulled through. As a result, Sbahle has decided to give back to God by doing the most for Him.
The accident itself, Sbahle has limited memory but those after the accident, Sbahle has no recollection at all. She is just very grateful to be alive.
Shortly after the horrific car crash, fans were shocked when Sbahle claimed she knew who was responsible for the accident. She has recently taken full responsibility for what happened. She says that she was distracted by something that was going on.
The fitness fundi has sat behind the wheel once more. On the reality show Kwa Mam’Mkhize, fans were able to see a slight glimpse of her recovery.
Opening up on the show, the star stated that the road to recovery has been a long one and had left her feeling sad. She experienced two months in a wheelchair been unable to walk.
A day after the debut of a show which follows her family’s personal life, Sbahle confessed that the day she woke up from the accident, her life has changed forever. She said that it saddens her to be someone another than the person she was before the accident. But with her strong willpower, Sbahle has opted to not worry about the things she cannot change and focus on trying harder to make her situation better.
